Placement Options

So, love it or hate it, I'm looking at installing some RSX fog lights for the winter months. My issue is, I have no spot left for the switch with rear and electric start on in the spare slots. Any other options anyone can think of where to mount the switch that wont look put of place?

What about putting the switch in the storage bit to the right under the steering wheel below the existing buttons? Out of site so won't look untidy

Center console switch?
I went down the flip switch route but i havent actually installed the front fogs yet. Im worried though as im not sure if i need to wire any other relays or resistors off the switch to have the front fogs working.
I cant upload a pic but i have 2 very small flip switches on one of the slots next to my push start button.

This.

Only real possible place, especially if it is temporary.

Unless, you somehow wire it under the steering wheel, in the footwell area but obviously in a position you can easily reach it.

Or you can maybe run it through the 12v slot and make that a button...

Some interesting ideas. It wont be temporary. What do you mean by 12v slot?

Apologies! - You know where the '12v cigarette' lighter is. Don't ask how to get wires to there haha, but I'm just thinking of places that would be suitable for a button to try keep everything OEM looking.

But this may mean you need to change the foglight switch to a round switch.

Ah ok. Hadn't thought of there actually. Not a bad shout. Currently sat in a hilux with a load of switches there. It's pretty easy to wire in behind there tbh.

I was toying with the idea of trying to squeeze one in under the existing one next the to mirror selector.

I have a thing with keeping everything in rows! Basically, using the grid system haha (I'm a graphic designer).

I think trying to squeeze one in the gaps may start looking messy. Does it have folding mirrors? If not, maybe you might be able to fit a little button where that would usually go.

If do you have folding mirrors, I'd personally go 12v hole, hide it under the wheel somewhere or in the storage compartment on the right side.

12v would be my first shot!

Not sure if theres any rules/laws in it. Originally was going to wire it to the rear one so they're both in together, but apparently you cant.

Ignoring the fact theres no start button on this pic. I was going to put that round button under where the right hand blank is (currently the rear fog switch). Width is about right I think. The only reason I changed it before because it wasnt in the middle of the blanking plate.

Oh yes! That's where my LED is for my alarm so if you reckon it would look neat there and not too big, go for it!

You've just reminded me - I need to fit my EP3 foglight switch in! Haha.

I've put a pic below.... I have a feeling it's not gonna fit how you would want it to.....

I've currently for the same switch in mine until I swap it over to the EP3

Hmmm yeah looks lower than I imagined compared to the L R selector. Don't hate the placement though. Might need to find a different switch option
