Nuts holding OEM Front Strut Brace

Are the nuts holding the OEM brace actually there for anything else other than the brace?

I'm curious because when I removed it to fit the Buddyclub, I just put the nuts back just in case

Afaik they're just studs for the OEM brace.

Yea they're studs, I snapped one and hammered it out the other end

May I ask what's the torque spec for those 4 x bolt that secure the OEM bar to the chassis? I only find the top nut torque spec 33 ft/lbs but cannot find the info for the bolts.
I need to remove it to do some work, and then put the OEM strut brace back later.

I have found it in the RSX manual, which showed 16 ft/lbs each bolt.

Sorry to revive an old thread.

Anyone actually replaced one of these studs and knows the size?

I can only find out a little bit when googling any someone mentioned using "grade 12.9 steel bolt" thats all
