I didn't say the DC5 wasn't a great car, or that it wasn't "better" than the EP3 (better is subjective), but that owners of cars tend to have rose-tinted specs on when it comes to objectively appraising and valueing their cars. ....which you conveniently illustrated with the "turns more heads...

Are those people fellow DC5 owners though? As has already been remarked elsewhere on this thread, it's a waste of time asking fellow owners for perceptions of price when it comes to their pride and joy, because everyone over-inflates the value of their own car and brand - whatever that happens...

Can I just chip in and say that I don't really understand the logic of people who have had their cars up for sale for several months, and are "desperate" to sell. If it hasn't sold after that long then it's priced too high - it's as simple as that.

Is 200bhp enough nowadays when you consider the marketplace? Admittedly some of the other cars only match it, but most of them have turbochargers so are a doddle to increase the power on (i.e. Focus ST, Golf GTI, Astra VXR, etc). I appreciate 200bhp from a NA engine is still an amazing feat in...
