Sorted at last..
After repalcing a damged engine mount which still didn't resolve the issue I took the car to a garage to get diagnosed..
They said the issue was with the driveshaft.. They rang Honda and they advised I should change the Half shaft too.
Replaced the Drive shaft and the Half...
Recently my car has developed what i can only describe as a judder.
When I get to around 4000rpm or accelerate hard the engine/car seems to judder.
It only happens when I'm accelerating, if I put the clutch down/out of gear there is no judder.
Any ideas? I'm thinking it's a dodgy engine mount...
I'm a Honda geek and had the DC2 before the DC5. The DC5 was the car I wanted really but nobody would insure me until I was 25..
Sooo I had the DC2 for 3 years and a few days before my 25th birthday I bought the DC5 :D
I just think it's a really good looking car and one of the last real coupe...
Can anyone recommend some decent cheap tyres?
I currently have Yoko Parada Spec 2's but kinda been warned off them.
Any views on Falken ZE912's? or the Kumho KU31's?
They are for normal use I won't be using them on a track or anything..
A month or so ago the SRS light came on for no apparent reason.
Anyway, I have had the fault diagnosed with the following error :
Anyone any idea what this actually menas and any idea of the cost to fix it?
The guy that diagnosed it seems to think it's the clock spring(?) in the steering...
I put one in my Del Sol back in the day.
I didn't buy one of the kits though just bought a few wires a resistor and an led cost me about £1
I'd rather save the £1 now though :green:
