Strange, I was on the GT circuit too and didnt get warned about volume on track. Doing the static noise test the guy said 'its not standard is it?' But it had still passed.

I got also bit worried when when I heard a 'rasp' noise at certain revs. But it just turned out to be the plastic 'i-vtec' cover that sits on the intake manifold vibrating in resonance.
