I'm having a few gearbox problems at the moment. the first problem is the gearbox bearing have new ones ordered and the second problem is the car popping out of fifth gear which is the 5/6 sleeve worn
but i search around and found revision of the parts which has just confused me
the part number honda gave was
23521-pps-305 1-2
23623-pns-305 3-4
23626-pns-305 5-6

but when i was looking around i found these part numbers for revision parts
1-2 - 23521-PPP-305
3-4 - 23623-PNS-316
5-6 - 23626-PNS-315

i found these on part numbers on these links

http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?43466-Unlisted-transmission-part-numbers-individual-synchros-etc
i was just going to change them all when the box is apart
but my question is what parts do i order?
the numbers honda gave me or these revision parts :xhuh:
i'm going up monday to honda to ask questions but don't want to be ordering the same parts that's in box if honda have a improved part out there
any info on this would be great

Maybe even go aftermarket with box internals? Think it was M-Factory or someone who makes them. Throw Dave in Steels Honda an email and he'd be able to advise.

Hi guys, does anyone know the difference between the original part numbers and the revision parts?

Any clue as to what honda changed/improved on the synchros, sleeves and hubs?

thanks

Thanks

Currently in the process of rebuilding my gearbox and looking into OEM vs aftermarket options for sleeves, hubs and synchros.

For 1-2 OEM is definitely the cheaper option but somehow for 3-4 mfactory/synchrotech is the cheaper call
