It helps you get a cleaner spark I believe which in turns makes the car smoother and you get a few extra bhp to boot. I've been told 2/3bhp but 8bhp sounds optimistic.

Nice mate. I tried some of these out at the motor show last year but was unsure whether it's worth buying as our throws are quite short anyway, might have to rethink now. :)
