Andy you are doing potential DC5 owners a great service and great prices but on the other hand you are killing private sales for forum members. Hence maybe a god idea to seperate private and trade sales on this forum.

Erm.....a couple of months later.....NO ! :lol: Throw in some Octane booster every now and again and you'll be fine. If you dont wan to then dont worry.

There are one or two stations around the republic with 98 Conor....but just one or two mind. its almost impossible to find it down South. Not all Shell stations do 98. They do V Power but its still 95.

Well...diagnosis was the car was badly flooded :oops: Cant understand it cause I didnt touch the throttle. Throttle body was covered in sludge and it just got a good clean. i feel sooo embarassed. !! Well at least it was nothing to worry about.

guess its not worth holding onto when the car is gone then ?

Ive been using my wifes litle runaround for the last 2 days while the DC5 sat in my drive. Since I'll need to get the Dc5 out in the morning to go to work, I decided to go out and shift the cars around and the Dc5 wouldnt start. It fired for a fraction of a second then cut out again.And now...

Conor..I'm not that well up on speakers to be honest so I wont talk a load of sh1te about them. I think mine came with a Pioneer Hu and afaik it was a 35W/channel. I'd be guessing your Alpine is somewhere around 35/40W per channel. As Suped said...you might be ebtter off keeping the HU and...
