Youv got a great taste mate, but i seriously doubt you will get insurance for under £5000 and thats if your lucky. Start off with maybe an ep3 shape type r replica with a 1.4engine and build your way up

Considering your age, many companies dont insure under 25s on imports and you have 0 noclaims bonus, thats a very decent price. Has to be where you live mate, i just went on admiral to see how they quote if i put in 0 no claims and my age came a lot higher then yours, so must be the areas...

Try some of the bigger companies mate, churchills etc, they dont look at what youv driven b4, but i think if your under 25 they wont insure you on an import. As for the dc5 being outdated, far from it may be a few years old, but that doesnt mean nothing, they are worth what they are going for...
