    Clockwise motion oil pressure

It's usually a case of overfilling, Civic Cup and most people who track will fill the oil to the twist on the dipstick myself included. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Regular Garage, Clutch Change?

You'll probably find specialists will price a clutch job cheaper than your typical garage as they know the process. It's a pretty shit job to be honest removing the box on these. Subframe has to come off, inlet support bracket needs removing, your knock sensor will probably take a whack. Only...

    Advice Please!

I know the car was in good hands, the first owner used Area Motorsport and gave them an open cheque book to do the work and carry out maintenance. I know Indi personally and it was an extremely well looked after and maintained car. It has been used on track but if that doesn't bother you I'd...

    Advice Please!

The car was first imported with 'Midnight' seems he's not on the forum anymore. If you search 'Midnight' in the posts section you'll find his lengthy build thread on the car. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Advice on Induction & Exhaust components

The AFR's will be out 100%, it's one of those where no one knows the damage it's doing without having the AFR's checked properly. I've always seen it as if you're going to the effort of removing the cat then you may as well get the most benefit and have the car mapped. The difference in...

Who runs a oil cooler on a dc5?

Yes, you see the pipes coming off the filter housing then to the water pump housing, that's the oem cooler system. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Who runs a oil cooler on a dc5?

They're not even really needed on track. The stock oil cooler does a good job. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Suspension geometry/design

"The instant center is an imaginary point that is created by drawing a line from the upper a-arm ball joint through the a-arm pivot where it is intersected by an imaginary line that extends from the lower ball joint through the inner control arm pivot. Where the two imaginary lines intersect is...

    Suspension geometry/design

From my understanding, if the tie rod mounting is flat (along with the steering arms) then your IC lines dont meet up. As the suspension moves these lines change as the LCA moves in line with the tie rod. That's the relationship you're looking for. Your LCA angle should not be flat just like...

    Suspension geometry/design

The rack raiser can be used in certain situations but very likely it'll be causing issues more than fixing them. Unless it was fitted while measuring the geometry. I'd say you'd need an alignment afterwards after removing. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Suspension geometry/design

The EP3 uses the same steering rack placement and the strut uses the same pick up point so the issues occur on both platforms. I think the main issue is that Honda designed the front suspension to work in a narrow window. If you look at some of the links posted my Justin on the analysis of the...

    Suspension geometry/design

I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread in regards to the suspension geometry of the DC5/RSX/EP3 platform. Any information you can share regarding bumpsteer, changes you've made to the geometry and how they've affected the car etc etc Questions get asked a lot on Facebook etc so...

Do I need to turn engine over by hand?

Stops the engine from firing, a few rotations on the starter motor will nicely feed oil around the engine without rotating too fast from a start up. It may not help who knows but you'd like to think feeding the oil at low speed will lubricate everything nicely. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Do I need to turn engine over by hand?

4 blue plugs on the fuel rail. Remove the inlet manifold cover and it exposes them. Crank for a few seconds, plug them back in and fire it up Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Do I need to turn engine over by hand?

I'd just crank it over without the injectors plugged in for a few seconds then plug back in and away you go Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Light rear end

I have driven Donington in the pouring rain many times and I'd say my car is fairly stable there. It doesn't help that the surface of Donington is terrible in the rain, it really makes the car work for grip and its still nice and stable. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
