Sorry I was referring to the sealing cap on the engine, behind the flywheel (I've updated my post to clarify this). There's a washer that goes on that bolt so I think I'll get a new one & maybe even put on a bit of Hondabond sealant as well. I know the hex bolt you were talking about though...

Another update: So further to my previous update, it seems that replacing the crankshaft seal didn't fix the problem. I'm really stumped, I can't find any cracks or a path of oil to the outside of the case where the leak is viable. While I had it all apart I replaced the rear main seal...

If you need one to tie you over I've just replaced mine so got a stock one lying around, used obviously (from 2006 model)

Just a quick update. I removed the transmission, clutch & flywheel and this is what I found (see pic). Looks like the rear main seal is shot

Thanks for the input guys. I guess the bottom line is that I'll have to drop the transmission to see what's going on. I'll report back when I find out more

Thanks for the reply. What you say makes complete sense, I just wasn't aware that the KM reading on the ODO could be converted to miles. I haven't actually got an Integra yet but I see a lot of ads stating a very confusing mixture of KM & miles

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a cluster or just the dial from an Acura RSX in a DC5? If so, doesn't this seem like a viable route to take in order to avoid the speedo conversion as the RSX is in MPH
