air filter

I've got one of the Mugen Air Filters on my car, and reading up about it, there meant to be a life long filter inside. Has anybody ever bought/or know where to buy one of the maintenance kits for them and are they worth it? I want to take it out and clean it up (as I don't want to be buying a...

Just a quick question, the induction kit was on the car when i brought it, but the actual filter is getting abit dirty. my question is, is it best to replace it all together (if so any ideas where i would get on as i dont know the make etc) or just take it out and give it a good old clean...
