Advice on MTF Fluid

hello everyone. I brought a DC5 Type R. It is fitted with an aftermarket lsd. The previous owner told me that he changed the MTF last year. I'm wondering if I should change it now and if i do what MTF should I use.

Is it still a Helical LSD or did they install a Clutch-based LSD?

Its a clutch based 1.5 way mugen lsd

Its best to keep maintenance with clutch-based LSD
Motul, Redline, and Cusco should have some oils that are clutch LSD friendly.
Might want to ask the guy who had it before what oil he was using.

Usually with plate LSD's you can use the OEM MTF with friction modifier.

I use Honda MTF 3 with Torco friction modifier.
