Following on forom a previous post I've found some more info on Brunters and timing.

Here's an Autocar "Timed Lap" trackday.

Spoke to Dave Walton from Brunters.

Track hire = £4000 per day

Timekeepers + Timing Gear = £350

40+ people will get a day for around £100 for whole day including track day and timing sessions for 0-60,0-100,V Max etc.

Will need a Track day organiser to supervise the day from Easytrack or Bookatrack(e.g.Pat Jackson)

In the original post the guys were asking about performance so I tried to find some info on where we could find this out for real.

The track day is purely to make the most of the whole day as the timing runs will only be for a couple of hours and the price is for the whole day. :D

That being said,I think I'll avoid using new rubber if we get something organised and the track is abrasive.

We did 0-60 run 1/4 miles et, on the section we used it was good ie flat

The track we used, we put a number of twisty sections in, for gooning, but the flat put 5th gear corner is a tad off putting with a Boeing 747 Jumbo parked in the middle
