Custom Air Duct Feed - Part 2 (+ Lower grill mesh)

Hi

Been busy all weekend, so the project is now finished :!: :!:

Next step:

- Half plat the back of the Grill with Alloy sheet



The sheet is cut to match the shape of the grill and is held in place by one small nut & bolt

- Make other half of Duct, with cut out whole to feed / direct air into the duct extension




The second and First piece is located and held in place with high strength tape. The extension duct whole, is cut to marry up. The pic below shows the whole with light coming through:



- Install Grill back to the bumper



As can be seen, the only visible sign is a slight shiny reflection from behind the grill

- Whilst the bumper was off, I meshed the lower grill to protect the radiator



The outer brake ducts grill, was a direct replacement. The other was located and around the edge simple plastic 4mm clear pipe is used to protect the paint work (This is cut, then heated, then applied to the edge of the mesh) These Four pieces are held / located in place with cable ties.
