How many people on here use one?

I've got a eprance G1W, and it works pretty well in both light and dark - although the power cable broke within a month, and the replacement generic USB charger I had in shorted and killed the internal battery so it now needs the date putting in if it's left for more than 24 hours.

I'm tempted to replace it with the Nextbase 402G, or the Mio Mivue 658 WiFi, which looks really really good.

I'm going to follow this thread as I am looking into Dashcams at the moment. I had a cheap one which was marvellous but has now died :-(

I have the Nextbase 402G in my watch list at the moment as that is the one I'm considering too

I'm currently using a Cheap one that is not of best quality and i have found that the sun will do some damage heating it up in the summer.

I have on order a rear view mirror dash cam that wraps around the original Rear view mirror, which will be out of the way from the sun.

I have a ambrella mini 0806, with GPS and a parking monitor.

For under £70 all in, well worth it for peace of mind.

Im currently using a transcend Drivepro 200 and the video quality is good but the sound quality is awful. For anyone interested here is a video I shot.

I'm quite happy with the video and sound quality of mine, especially as it was only £26 with shipping. My videos are all at https://www.youtube.com/user/wraithpriest

My one dislike is the lack of speed, although I'm guessing for some that's a blessing!

Chris has already told me off for the swearing in the 'Why I'm always prepared to stop' one, as my kid was in the car ;)

This is some of the footage from the Mio Mivue 658, it's so much better than the night time footage on my camera that it's staggering.

Do people leave these inside their cars at night recording to see who's creeping around, or does it drain the battery?
