I saw this when it was for sale before they bought it, I looked away when I saw the price :)
I didn't think it was too bad for a historic race car, imagine what it cost to build! I think it had just been rebuilt ready to race as well.

The main issue would be running costs, but they obviously have this covered.

Shrewd buy if you ask me. Must be great for the business,advertising and generating interest in the DC5.

Yeah deff a good purchase for them and the business for sure mate, it’s a serious bit of kit with most of it being far from the everyday owners ideal car for fun as a lot of it is custom and so far from oem or even high end stuff it’s be near impossible to repair things without many contacts for fabrication etc.

I didn’t know it’s just potentially undergone a load of work to enable it to compete again, that’s epic for them then :)
