I've just found this site and its great!
Im looking for some advice please,i currently own a 1998 championship white integra type R dc2 (b18c) model which has covered 45000miles,and over the past week has developed a very noticeable topend 'knock' when i say topend i mean from camshft/rocker cover area,i understand the valve clearances are adjustable(according to my servie book they are and should be adjusted at service)i am unsure whether they have ever been adjusted at any service! i have full 'Honda' sevice history and have always made sure mobil 1 is used,i was wondering if anyone has heard of any problems like this ie worn camshfts,or do the valve clearances required adjusted sometimes?To be honest in my experience it doesnt sound like a loose tappet! i have made sure my oil level etc is ok,which it is, Any feedback would be much appreciated
