Front H Badge & Backing Removal

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did do a search but couldn't find an answer.

I'm thinking of removing the front H badge along with the backing square trim on my pre face lift. Has anyone done it? Is it a simple case of remove the trim and job done, or is there something behind that piece?

Any pics would be much appreciated!

Check out my thread in the gallery. Latest post I replaced my front badge and there is a photo of the bumper without it on.

Front badge you need to take off the bumper.. couple screws on the back of the grill

Front badge you don‘t need to take the bumper off. It‘s easier, but you don‘t need to.
Remove the plastic clips in the black slam panel, lift it up and get your hand and small screwdriver in the gap.
Took me less than 10 mins to do.
