Evening all

I had my car serviced at Steels today and asked them to check out a noise coming from from front passenger suspension strut.

Turns out my front upper mount/top mount is on it's way out

Now, do I go for Honda OEM replacements, or is something better available????

Info / opinions please :p

Cheers :D

I think the answer depends on whether you want to keep as much ride comfort/refinement as possible or are prepared to sacrifice some of it for more feel. If the former then stick with OEM, if the latter then have a look around for some aftermarket pillow-ball ones. These mainly come supplied with coilover kits but I think HKS do some that you can buy separately. Try a browse of the Takakaira site?

I've got some Buddy Club ones on mine, and also the lower arms which replace the rubber bush with a pillow ball mount. Absolutely chuffed with the results in terms of feel but it does get harsh and noisy on really bad surfaces. I wouldn't change back though.

HTH?
