Full Lock Squeak/Squeal

Hi

Recently bought a DC5 and didn't really notice it much till now but when im full locking/near full locking the car it starts to squeak/squeal a bit and its quite loud.

Is this normal or any ideas what this might be?

I dont think its normal mate . Power steering maybe ?

With other fwd cars in the past Ive discovered cv joint issues on full lock but didnt sound like a squeal .

Check power steering fluid is topped up, and possibly change it to see if it helps. You can get a tester which will tell you the moisture content of the fluid as well, or get your local garage to test for a couple of beers

Hi Ben, I've got exactly the same issue on full right lock it squeals and the Honda tech said this is common but I've seen you can either buy replacement o-rings at Honda and rebuild the pump or Tegiwa have one for £80

I've seen other people use a PS pump out of an Accord
