Hope this is ok to post about but I just got a fantastic 1/18 scale Diecast of a DC5, made by AutoArt.
The detailing is amazing, also available in blue and black.
I ordered it from modelcarexpo, its not available in the UK yet (sounds familiar!). http://www.modelcarexpo.com/subcatlist2.asp?catid=16
It set me back in total £46 inc postage from Hong Kong (where they're based - took a week to get here). Autoart models usually cost about £40-£50 over here so it wasnt too bad.
I hope the model I have coming from The States is as good, I found it on Ebay, its a limited model of 3000, I think mines no. 282. It comes in a display case too  It has cost me, including shipping approx $40, so £28 I think
Once it arrives I will let you know how it is
That sounds like the 1/43 Ebbro one.. I have one of those too, very nice detail for a 1/43. They have a website with pics of it if you do a search on google etc.
Where did you get the Mugen DC5? Do you know what make it is?
I have the others inc Mugen s2k, NSX-R, NSX-R prototype, but yeah no EK9 or EP3 (except plastic model kits)
