Hi,

Would like to introduce ourselves, we are Unit8 Performance Products and are based in Darwen, Lancs. We specialise in Japanese performance parts and also cover plenty of bits for the DC5, DC2, EP3 and AP1/2.

We are official Buddy Club Dealers and also supply parts from AEM, DC Sports, AP Racing, Tar-OX, Spoon, F-Carbon, Sun, HKS, Takata etc etc......

We have checked with Andre and have clearance to trade on here.

We have the full Buddy Club Range available from the super funky Type A gearknob right through to a full Aero Body Kit and Carbon Bonnet. We have the P1 Racing SF wheels in stock in both Gunmetal and White which look tremendous on the DC5. We are currently looking into ways of bringing the fabulous range of Rays wheels into the UK at reasonable (not cheap) prices so that you guys and girls can get hold of the amazing CE28N!!!
We also offer a professional window tinting service using only llumar film and Llumar trained fitters for a superb finish and lifetime guarantee!!!

Naturally, we will strive to offer deals, discounts and group buys wherever possible so give us a try we always aim to please and I have noticed a few names from the sister site (CTR) on here that may know of us too.

Please browse our simple to use online shop for parts available but this isnt definitive, we can also supply a lot more that isnt yet uploaded click this link for details www.unit-8.co.uk

We hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Stevie

Stevie,

Just had a look at the alloy range, my only concern is the offsets being offered are not close to the OEM offset of 60 on the DC5...

Maybe the Ray's range will support this :?:

Hi Mike,

I thought the offset on the ITR was ET50?

I am sure that the ET42-48 are fine on this car as we have fitted these to DC5 before without any issues.

Hope this helps.

Stevie

Stevie,

The ET on the DC5 is 60, hence why Mugen alloys have an ET 55...

I do run ET 45 one mine, for street only, I try to get as close to the OEM offset for track. I wouldn’t run anything less than ET45, as it will put a much greater stress on the wheel bearings etc.

It worries me slightly, when traders don't do 'proper' research into the fundamental basics....... Not applied directly at Unit-8 - general statement

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your comments, I have spoken to a couple of specialists while researching this vehilce and have always been confident that the wheels we sell are suitable for the DC5. I understand your comment regarding 'research' and assure you that I put in the groundwork before offering anything for sale.

Kind Regards,
Stevie

As I said, the comment I made was a general statement to all traders....

A lot of 'true' info on the DC5 can actually be found on this web site and within the forum.

Hi Dan,

It appears there are one or two mystical DC5s knocking about the NW.

Feel free to pop by any time you are all welcome. We initially intended to be purely internet based but have found that most Jap performance car owners are enthusiasts and like to pop by and have a chat, mul around a bit and have a nosey at the stuff on sale (I am exactly the same). As a result, we are putting together a little show room with parts to view etc so there will be somewhere to look when you visit.

I also have a kettle, tea, coffee etc  .................

Regards,
Stevie
