Can anyone recommend a good garage in or around south west /Somerset/Bristol area?! ( I live in street and I don't want to travel too far!)

I just ordered Eibach sportline springs and camber kit and rang my local garage to see if they can fit and they said they won't touch my car as I have bought the parts myself and will only use parts they supply...so I'm not impressed at all!!

Thing is I trust that garage and have always taken my cars there in the past, so if anyone knows of any other good ones local to me then I would really appreciate it :)

Speak to Jimmer or Chinese Adam. Both live relatively near you so should have a good idea on places to go :)

Just trying to think. I live in Bridgwater, and im regularly in weston but tbh ive only ever needed big work done at TGM. All bits like my suspension etc ive fitted myself. :/ Sorry I cant be of any more help. Places I would trust though with setup of suspension are Bridgwater tyres and exhausts. They set mine up for me brilliantly, DC5 is on their system. Call them, they may even fit it for you. :)

I have a man in Bristol who specialises in jap cars and is very good if thats any good to you, i would offer to do it, but wont have time for a few weekends so if you arnt in a hurry then i will be cheap compared to others as i dont have overheads but cant do it straight away. if you are going to fit a camber kit, you will need to get an alignment done afterwards, not many small garages will have equipment to do that.

I'm with Simon on this one. There is a garage that we use but he cannot do the alignment. But reccomended somewhere else to et it done in Bristol. Failing that, TGM is you next option.

Once fitted, anywhere should align it. Assuming they follow your specs, and have a decent machine.

Ive just changed jobs, so bit early to be asking to do side jobs. I can do it at home if your stuck, but obviously cant align it at home.

Ha, just realised how old this thread is.

Lee at FCM wheel alignment is the only person other than me, who does my alignment.

He's done it for donkeys year's. Has his own setup within FCM. FCM do a lot of track and drift cars and the like.
Sure C&S will have heard of them.

Good shout

I've used FCM garage in the past
They work on a lot of Japanese motors

A mate recommends Pro Garage near Warmley

Pro garage is who me and Simon (C&SEVO7) use for closer to home jobs. Although I do prefer TGM at times.

FCM is another garage Simon has recommended to me but never used them myself.

What is it you want doing to your car?

I've never used FCM. Just Lee for my alignment when I've not been able to do it for whatever reason.
Sorry was replying based on alignment not general work.
