I just found this site and registered. I purchased my car on the 28th of March, but wasn't able to take delivery until the 1st of June.

Nice to find some other Integra R owners. I really love my car, although currently I am without it--reason being--

Long story, basically some Japanese lady decided she was just going to turn right into me. Car was only 3 months and 28 days old.

My previous vehicles--
1994 Honda Civic Ferio SiR (B16A)
1996 Honda Civic SiR (B16A)
1990 Honda Civic SiR (B16A)
1989 Honda Civic Si (ZC)

Anyways this forum is for exhausts. Mine is fitted with a Power House Amuse full titanium exhaust. Stock exhaust weighed in at 13.9kg, this one weighs in at an incredible 3.55kg. The sound is simply amazing.

Nice exhaust mate, shame that you're car is in that state. The Amuse Exhaust looks  might be looking to replace my N1 with it some point in the near future though its not gonna be cheap (already had some quotes). Out of interest which one have you got? The R1 Titan (Extra), R1 Titanm or the R1000?

Also read in your topic in the Gallery that you have the Top Fuel Neo, just wondering has it made any difference? It seemed to get a mixed reaction in two issues of Option/Option 2.

Yes it is not cheap really. I got it for ¥120,500 or about £640. Mine is the R1 Titan without the pre-silencer, completely race model. When I ordered it, the shop asked me if I was sure I wanted that one, I said YES, GET ME THAT ONE!

On the TopFuel PowerNEO, power wise I can't say really. It may have slightly (ever so slightly) increased torque. It has increased my fuel mileage some, I have a very heavy foot, once the car was broken in, it never sees non-VTEC. So I was getting like 6.5-7km/liter since I added it, I am averaging about 7.6km/liter. Still not great, but every bit helps.

It is a shame, but hopefully I will have it back in a couple weeks.

Well thats certainly cheaper than what I was quoted by a place over here!! R1 Titan (extra) was around £950, R1 Titan was £1100 and R1000 was £1300 :-#

Ouch, that is very high priced. Close to double the retail Japanese price. Shipping can't be that much!

Hi Chris

The Amuse Ti exhaust certainly does look gorgous.
Whats the dimension of the exhaust pipe bore because it does look quite big?
Sorry about your DC5 though. :(
What are you going to do with it now? Repair it and fit aftermarket aero kits?

The price is supposed to include shipping, vat and tax, but I still don't think it should be quite as expensive as what I've been quoted.

Hi Chris

Sorry about your DC5. The R1 exhaust looks very nice & only weight 3.5kg!
With that price you can have more choices in Japan like Mugen/Spoon N1 exhaust. Could I ask you what made you go for R1 Titan instead of the other brands? And what the people think of Mugen & Spoon performance parts in Japan?

cheers,
andre

DC5RK20A - sorry to hear someone borked your car!!

Love to hear some sounds of your car, if you got anyway of making some recordings or taking some movie shots.

I got some I downloaded form peer to peer, it was being filmed from behind as guy did standing start, it had aftermarket system on, but who knows what it was. But it sure sounded awesome, once he'd got in second gear and reving in the sweet spot, plus it crackled and popped when he changed gears.

Ouch, we really do get the p*ss taken out of us hear, we're at least £2k more expensive than Europe for new cars, even more than Japan, and look at the crazy mark up.

I have found quite a few jap companies that cater for UK market, can sell aftermarket stuff, and post it, and I bet it would be cheaper than buying it from here. If I come across any I will send you links. I did find one, and annoingly forgot to bookmark it d'oh!

But even if it costs £150 odd to ship it, still gonna be a lot cheaper, perhaps if you contacted the place that DC5RK20A got his from, seems he is there - could be a handy contact.

Cheers

I've used a company called TakaKaira for my Spoon products (N1, filter etc), contrary to what some of the Honda Rev's members (not naming names) think, they are a good company who I can't fault (plenty of others can vouch for how good they are too). May try asking them to special order for me seeing as they don't usually stock Amuse parts.

DC5RK20A - just wondering, how many dB's is your Amuse Titan R1 exhaust?

The exhaust piping is 60mm for the main pipe and the tip is 100mm. The car is at Honda at this time. I was going to have the bonnet and front bumper replaced with pieces from Ings, but I don't have the cash to front the money, so it looks like it is going back to normal. It really sucks, the ladies insurance is paying for it, but they won't pay money until the car is fixed, so anything I want done I have to front the money.

I wanted a full titanium piece, the weight, the strength and durability of it over stainless steel was the reasoning. Mugen and Spoon parts are popular choices here in Japan for performance oriented Hondas. I could of went with the 70mm piping Mugen race exhaust, as it cost about the same as the Amuse, but again it was stainless steel.

None as of now. When I get the car back in my possession I will attempt to acquire some.
