Nice info again, but do DC5's have front fog lights? I've never seen one.... and after just a quick look down the list, i see the main beam bulb for a facelift DC5 is wrong, mine has a H3B not H1....
got bored after that lol :-"

Do Halfords stock Brake Lights: HBU580 / R580 (Dual Filament) does anyone know? Literally seconds ago pulling up at home found out one of my lights is out.

P.s. I'm not being thick am I, we ARE meant to have 2 rear lights even after the fog light mod?

Also, please tell me replacing a simply rear light bulb isn't going to be a pain in the arse?

I broke my HID bulb today! Refurbing my lights took the bulb out didnt realise i broke the element, fitted everything again and then turned on the lights and there was a spark. Light gone. Nice thread to come up this weekend just when i needed to start looking for the correct bulb

The Philips are very good and worth the money. Plus you've a 2 year warranty on them.

I got a set of D2R's free from a member on here that he got with a HID conversion kit and they've deteriorated very fast and there's very little light from them so I'll be taking them out for another set of Philips which I had before them.

Not sure why the member had to order a conversion kit but New York Addict's DC5 had no HID's when he bought it as they were removed by previous owner so could have been same problem.

Really the HIDs should be removed for the SVA test so thats one reason....

Also other reasons are if a ballast dies on you, its cheaper to get a conversion kit complete with bulbs than it is to get one ballast from honda.

Hello does anyone know the name of that tiny bulb that lights up the front cup holders.

I think its a white shining bulb because the holder has a red bulb shield which allows it to shine red onto the front cup holders.

Mine blew 2 days ago and I have no idea where to find that tiny bulb.

It has the same shape as a 501 bulb but only about half a cm big?

If anyone knows that would be great

I got mine from Halfrauds. Took the little lamp in and matched it up. Think it was about £1.50 or something, it was three years ago mind so I can't remember exactly what the number is. Do a search on here for the exact lamp, it has been covered before. :) But Halfords definitely do them. :)
