I Tunes latest version problems

Upgaded to I tunes 8 last night.
But now when I click on a track to play it can't find the original file.
This is applicable to about 90% of my library

HELP PLEASE
If I find the original file myself then it works but this will take ages doing it like this.

Are all the files in your iTunes folder still?

Have you tried a system restore?

go onto apples website , you can move a certain folder then delete a certain folder from inside the itunes one and it resorts your library.

just a thought is the keep music organised box ticked??

All the files are still on our external hardrive.
If I do a system restore will it revert back to the previous I Tunes version?
I'm at work at the moment but will check the keep music organised box when I get home.
