Knock noise after replacing tie rod ends

Hi guys, wondering if you could help me please.
So before I replaced the tie rod ends there was no knocking noise just a slight rattle almost when going over speed bumps.

I've replaced the tie rod ends with hardrace updated ones, which are slightly longer which I had to dremel (cut) down to size as wouldnt fit onto tie rod).
I am now getting a single knock noise when going down speed bumps and occasionally up speed bumps. I checked the drop links yday and they visually looked fine?

Anyone had this issue before?

Sounds like you've fitted ep3 tie rods instead of dc5 ones the knocking will be where it bolts to the shock as the ep3 diameter is smaller giving movement

I ordered from tegiwa and they said DC5 tie rod ends? Could they of sent the wrong ones?
If that is the case and its smaller diameter will this cause an issue?
Can I just tighten fek out of it to clamp it down more?

It's a possibility that you've been sent the wrong ones they wont clamp down correctly if they are ep3 ones if you can measure them and the shock to see if it is definitely that

Or you've bought dc5 ones, but have after market shocks so need ep3?
