Hi all,

Long time since I've posted here. So between a new addition to the family and a pandemic my first baby has been lying up quite a few months now, 6+ month at least since last started. I want to get her back on the road but I'm looking for advice on what would you do before starting her up again? Just to avoid any unnecessary damage to the engine.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but appreciate any advice.

Thanks in advance,
Samantha

After 6 months you’re probably ok. Mine sits over winter for a similar duration although I do try to start her up, move her out of the garage and back in again if I get a chance.
Might get a bit of starter motor “sneeze” that these cars are renowned for but otherwise should be good. Check battery, oil, fuel levels etc.

Check tyre pressure and fluid levels, then fire it up and let it warm up as normal
