Mugen N1 for a car in the UK would be total overkill, I think Silverstone, Brands, and Donnington would be the only circuits you could use, the rest would be to rough. Undriveable on mosts roads let alone our crappy ones.

Msg board, are you still running them, thinking about them, racing them or track days?

I use them and they are super. Are you sure that you have cracked the very fiddly(criticism) front bottom adjustment?

And Matt, I've run them at Combe, Oulton and on Herefordshire roads without grief, so I'm not sure what you are basing your comments on.

Oh and by the way I'm running 800/1150 lbs which a tadge sharp!

Richard my comments were solely based on Dick's comments when I spoke to him at Silverstone regarding what I wanted to do with my DC5, virtually quoted the same sentance :lol:

Whilst I agree with you that they work well, saw them for myself at Combe, I think a softer set up would be suited to Joe Public, yours was hopping around a bit :lol: , had it been me driving it could have got messy :roll: :lol:

I spoke to King Motorsports earlier in the year and Mugen do sell a street/track damper that is cheaper but has less adjustibilty.

Yers, well OK BUT...

-The car was almost undriveable that day because we didn't have any droop on the front, witness the dramatic progress! Our fault not Mugen's.

Next time out at the same place showed that the car was compliant ,driveable and definately not as scarey!!

In my view Mugen N1s are the biz BUT (again) they are certainly circuit orientated. I can sell cheaper, german shocks (s/h) for £650 . These will look low and mean, be fine for quick road use and be OK for quickish lappage.
I'll still be quicker over a lap on Mugens though!

What are you on about anyway Matt, you drive (very well[creap creap]) an effing Elise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
