Hows things, first post on here.. :xgrin:

Will upload pics of the car tomorrow, is generally clean underneath as I had it on a ramp today. Will be cleaning it and undersealing it.

Came across this though, cant believe i missed it upon purchase.. :xClubbed:

Anyone encounter this before..?

Sorry, thats the front driver shock/strut tower. Just on the corner where the seam sealer is applied from factory.? Seam sealer has cracked and appears there is rust underneath? Would this be common..? Unsure if you can see my pics?

Mines been in the country 14 years with most of its life outside and doesn‘t look like that

Not sure how common it is there, I've not seen it personally. What is common is the seem sealer cracking and starting that process.

You may be lucky and that's your only area, or you might have lots of areas where it has gone. I would get your wings off and check the bottom corners of the windscreen, roof gutters, under boot rubber, and under headliner.
