need to reset?

getting my extractor decatted next week when my intake arrives from japan

am seeking advice from ppl who "have a decat exhaust system and intake"s advise on whether there is a need to reset the ecu with your new additions and whether it would coz the ecu to throw a check light? i' askin this since you guys are getting the jdm spec DC5s which is the same one i am driving.

When I fitted the Spoon 2:1 De-Cat I didn't have to reset the ECU and have no checklight problem.
Everything is fine.

thanks! :wink: btw, i went for the zigen intake set up in the end. the fellas at gruppem quoted me 553 pounds for the ITR intake shipped! :evil: but i paid just over half that amount for the zigen and spoonsports filter!

Good choice,(especially moneywise)I'm sure the results will be similar to the Gruppe M 8)
Let us know yor results if you dyno the car after fitting.
