No doubt you will see my thread below this stating I've been planning on getting a DC5 after my wedding in a few months.. however I some how managed to convince the wife to be it would be a good idea to buy one just now...
I managed to get a face lift with 80k miles and a tonne of service history carried out by the local honda specialist. It has a kpro ecu, upgraded inlet manifold,mishimoto radiator,mugen intake system and some other bits and bobs.
Unfortunately I wont be able to drive this until after the wedding and we sell one of the other cars so this goes in the garage until then...
It has a couple of small issues such as passengers window doesn't work and the front o2 sensor needs replaced however for the price i got the car for these are simple issues to sort arent an issue, it has a bit of rust one of the the arches which I plan on sorting over the next few months
First plans are to get it out this weekend and give it a good clean, then after that is to carry out a major service so change fluids, oil,brake,power steering, (gearbox fluid changed recently), then the usual spark plugs & cabin filters.
I dont have much plans to modify the car other than upgrade the double din head unit and have the steering wheel retrimmed. Apart from that I plan on just enjoying !
