New tyres- Advice Please!

Hi all

The times come to get new tyres, after a few searches here the Goodyear Eagles seem to be pretty popular. Just a couple of questions, would you advice either the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 87Y or the Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 2) 91Y XL? Is there much of a performance difference? Im running stock 17s OEM but on slightly lowered springs.

Also, I currently have Michelin 215 45 17 W and the Goodyears are 215 45 17 Y. Is one speed rating more preferred then the other?

Forget the 87's, I'd recommend either 91 or 94

If you are going for the GY F1 Eagles, go for what the guys above have recommended, they have a stiffer sidewall so will cope with harder load.

I also highly recommend the Continental Conti Sport 5's as my friend run's these on his and they are fantastic in the wet and dry (more so in the wet). Very sticky when up to temperature.

Bridgestone REO70 all the way bud, Ive had the conti sport 5's and they are good especially in the wet, but the Bridgestones are on another dimension in comparison especially in the dry
