NEWS BREAKING .UK 06 MY launch includes EC5

Jap. source states that the DC5 will come to the UK in 0206 following Geneva launch in 1005. Certain the spec will be EP3 and not JDM.
The EC5 will enjoy DC5 JDM facelift due late this year, 04.

When you say 'EP3 and not JDM' do you mean UK spec? EP3 is the model number for the 7th generation of Civic.

... and WTF is an 'EC5'?!?!

Brief searches reveal an EC5 is a Honda Civic Wagon...!!! A proper MPV Type-R on its way? .... I doubt it.

Can anyone claim the validity of this post? ...I havent even seen any pics of the DC5 MkII

My Japanese colleague says

that EC5 ( that could be my interpretation) will have EP3 running gear and the DC5 will be face lifted late this year. DC5 will continue with an R spec.

So, early 06 UK dealers should have the 197 bhp EP3 running gear in the evolved DC5.

I know no more at this stage and I'm sorry that I have no links yet.

I don't see why Honda would even bring the mkII DC5 over here in 2006 :? as the whole UK range gets its new make over/new generation released that year. So even the newly released mkII CTR will be the "old model".
