couple of weeks ago the car wouldnt start called out rac they towed it to bristol and upon arrival it started fine (and they couldnt diagnose anything with there machine) has done ever since until last night when i was driving along suddenly lost all power and the engine stalled and wouldnt start again. it would fire up and stall again in less than a second, the same as wot it did 2 weeks previous. thought it might have been a imobilser fault but now not so sure (petrol pump was suggested by rac bloke). i have recently had a toda manifold and buddy 3 fited also have a aemv2. any ideas? honda arent looking at it till monday.

I have had this before when the earth on the intake manifold has not been tightened up. It is the earth for the injector loom under the ivtec cover. Try cleaning it and tightening. Sometimes this gets forgotten if it is undone.

Have you got a engine start button? or is it just the key you use. Is the orange engine light on?

The engine /ECU MIL light. Its the orange light looks like a little engine in the temp gauge dial, between the ignition and oil lights (I think).

problem number 1 solved - it was dodgy wiring for the alrm which caused the engine management fuse to blow which now leads me to problem number 2, the hid bulb on the passenger side has gone, i checked the fuse and it is fine so anyone know the part number for it so i can get honda to order it? TIA

Swap it with the other side just because it may not be the bulb as the power packs sometimes go down.

yep i had problems with my power pack. Thought it was the bulb, swapped over, worked perfectly on the other side. DC5's have a known problem with the powerpack, always seems to be the left as well

Dave at Steels Honda can get you one, think they are circa £175 and are very easy to fit although a little time consuming.

I had a problem with starting engine after Injectors cleaning by ultrasounds system.
If my engine is cold or hot it’s start good. But if it warm I can't start my engine. Now it’s cold weather in Russia and engine become colder very fast. I speak with specialist they said that it can be problem with rubber ring on the injector. Does anybody have such problems?

:? Hi if the problem started after you had the injectors cleaned i would just buy some more to replace yours. I'm sure someone on here must have some.
