PS3 NAT failed

i cant not get this to work and cant connect to anyone onlie, i have tried turning off UPNP, i have put dmz on the ip the ps3 is using, i have tried port forwarding using the tcp and udp numbers from the playstation knowledge centre and still it fails

anyone got any ideas before i get out the hammer?

my ps3 is in the dmz in my router settings, never had any issues and much easier than messing about with port forwarding

i tired enabling DMZ for the ip the ps3 is using and still get NAT type: Failed when i run the network test on the ps3.

seriously getting annoyed now as on the xbox nat is open :S

Are you using Wifi?

I had alot of issues with my PS3 not connecting to anything but once i started using a hardwired cable its been alot better.

Still couldn't connect to the race today though :xmad:

mine is hardwired, always has been, even though i had to trail wires round half the outside of the house!!

it was wired, i have just tried changing to wireless but on the connection test it fails on uPnP now, changed it back to wired and fails on NAT. i really dont understand it, it fails if i set the ip to be in DMZ or not
