Radio aerial connection missing

Decided to rid of the Jap headunit and go for something that doesn't require Rosetta Stone to play tracks :)

I removed the old jap unit along with 10 meters of cable and a thousand connector blocks (very interesting install) while doing this I also noticed that I dont actually have an aerial in the car for the radio!

Anyone come across this before? Not sure why anyone would remove the aerial.

After seeing how the old unit was wired in I probably shouldn't be shocked.

As a quick fix I was looking at fitting an internal aerial myself. I've seen hidden amplified ones on ebay but not sure if they're worth it?

Cheers
Pete

Passenger side, remove glove box, bottom left corner of where the box connects theres a junction.

If it had dab from new, you won't have the analogue connection.

I just bought a sticky windscreen dab antenna for my radio if you have newer double din unit.

Circled one is the dab connection. It'll be that or a female analogue connector

Saves me taking everything apart.

Appreciate the help.
