Simon, I wasn't questioning the results mate - those are damn good numbers in anyone's book is all.

Did you check the before and after oil heat and pressure :?:

Also, how many runs did you do to get the base figure :?:

Did you warm up the gearbox and engine fully for the first run :?:

Here's a pic of the temp during first run test (stock)

I have the fuel graph too if you want.
There were three runs in total, only saved 1st and 3rd (called run 2 on graph)
Fans that blew at front of car were same speed for first two runs.
Actual 2nd run showed car was running a lot colder an fuel was leaner.
Actual 3rd run, lowered the fan speed slightly, and the temp & fuel were similar to first run but power gain was highest
(2nd run showed 181.3 bhp)
Apart from the filter the car was not touched.
If you want I will video the run for the exhaust(though how to host it is another thing)

Car was run for 25 miles before it went straight onto machine & several bursts were done for calibration first (and to get the rpm limit right as well)

Sorry Paul I was writing post as you posted and certainly wasn't flaming anyone :) Like I say one second the car was 177 bhp the next ,after just the filter, it was incredible :D

Hmmm indeed something is not quite right!! :?
Look at the printout for the temp.
That's your car Paul.
I'll give them a call and see what's going on

When you say that is the "temp" is that for the intake?

What is the oil pressure before first run and before the third run? This can significantly make a difference in power.

Why did you not use the second run?

Phew, rang the guy at Thor, simple mistake.Had brought up Paul,s (DC51VTC) folder to check which gear to run(app. Pauls was run in fourth mine fifth) and had,in error, left folder details up for initial runs on my car so printout had wrong car and date at bottom but right readings.Info posted IS info for T666YPR.Pete is e:mailing new readout but will obviously have same graph

a) Not sure about that one.Judging by the temp involved it must be(too cold for engine or exhaust)
b) Why would it be different?
c) Third run showed them in the best light.('spose you can call it 181.3 bhp for exactly same conditions)
:) :) :)
