That old Insurance question

Hi Guys
Just trying to sort out insurance for my DC5 at the moment. I've got a quote with one company for over £800 (old bugga with 4y NCB, garaged, lowest crime area possible). How does that compare to yours?

Problem with me is that I also own an FTO and a Civic. The DC5 is with the same Co as the FTO as they are 'mirroring the NCB' on the FTO policy. The Civic is with Elephant but only costs like £300 or something.

What's your quotes like and who's the best for insurance?

well i havent got my DC5 yet, but on my pug Tesco beat all other quotes i got by a few hundered quid so i'll be sticking with them i think


on a slight tangent does anyone know what insurance group a DC5 is??

I am led to believe the DC5 is group 20

I'm with Rich.. i think its group 20 as its an import so they push it high...

I get my insurance through A-plan (axa) and because old git with full no claims i pay just under £800 including the mods... it does pay to shop around as said elsewhere because most people dont even know what it is yet !!

HI m8,

I have got a very good quote from Tesco, considering I had a big claim last year!!

They rate the car as a JDM DC2, and then ammend the policy :idea:
