I suppose i am a newby, been hankering after a DC5 for over 12 months, i like to do my homework before i buy a car !!! however the insurance thing is proving to be a nightmare, best i have had is £716, with a £400 excess, that was with Direct line (i am an old git, with loads of no claims and a good post code) how does this figure match up?? Currently running a Nissan GTiR much modded and all declared £550.

Remember your insuring a newer car thus has greater value, hence why its more....

Mine's a similar price with Direct Line as well,not sure if I'm in a good postcode or not.

I'm an old git too, but I live in London... OUCH ... so add an extra £500 on top of your price for living in london and thats what I am paying.. :evil:
