Throttle pedal stop - advices?

Hey there,

i stripped my dc5 2 years ago and im starting to replace some bits here and there. I noticed that, once i got the floor out, there isnt a throttle stop for the pedal anymore. In the heat of the track i tend to smash on the pedal which is liek shortening the life of that throttle cabel quite significant...

so: Did you guys fabricated anything against this? On my bmw e30 rallycar its just a screw mounted somewhat underneath the pedal to have a adjusted stop, im just wondering if there is a solution out already :)

cheers

I came up with this idea. A ”nut rivet” throug the plastic and then a bolt with a nut so I can adjust and lock it in place :)8E2F921D-4B86-46B5-849D-0B805C6423D5.jpeg
