Toda Manifold

Hi, has anyone fitted a manifold on their own, and if so is it really difficult to do? Desperate to fit my Toda, but most of the places I know that can fit them around here can't do it until mid January, which sucks, and I'm not sure if the local garages will do it for me.

I called TopGear in Burnley, and they told me they don't fit manifolds, which really cheesed me off, as they're supposed to be the exhaust specialist, and they fitted one for me last year for £30.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.....
 Merry X-Mas everyone!!!!!!!!

LOL, I was in the same position as you last year. Bought the manifold near Christmas time, couldn't get any local garages to install it before the New Year, tried to install it myself didn't succeed and then found a garage slightly further away to install it.

It's easy to install it if you have enough space, idealy you would need to jack the car up as high as possible but life would be much easier if you have garage ramps. Would take at least 3hours on your own.

Look at my gallery and there's a link to Toda manifold installation to give you an idea of step by step process. It's pretty straight forward.

Its a heatshield but its a bit tricky to find the right place to install it.
Actaully, have you contacted Paul of System-R to fit your manifold? Hes based in Warrington.

Yeah, a friend of mine from RC also recommended them, will give them a call, can't be asked getting dirty in this weather, thanks for the advice.
