Unplayable USB file

Has anyone else had this error message come up on their double din? I have a Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB and when I plug in my USB which formatted to FAT32, I get this error message.

It works sometimes but very rarely and the music is stored in folders and has worked previously in other cars.

Does it happen on particular songs? Sometimes songs are compressed differently or use different file formats like mp3, mp4, wma, wav... some which may not be compatible with the head unit.

Worth looking into - it may be that some have been ripped differently.
