Wheel opinions needed

Welll I had a nice find when sorting through my old car bits, found these black titanium wheelnuts off my old Prelude so I thought I'd get some aftermarket wheels so I could put them to good use.

The more I see pictures of other peoples cars the more I realise I need some 17x17.5 ET45 wheels to fill the arches better. Only wheels I can really find in this size (apart from expensive jap wheels) are Rota and Team Dynamics.

Ideally, I would like gunmetal or Anthracite but these are in short supply at present so these are my options.


Rota Torque in gunmetal, very close to oem wheel and was after something a bit different.

Rota Force in gloss black or matt black with red lip (no gunmetal available) never been a fan of completely black wheels and not sure how easy matt black is to keep clean but I do like the wheels.

Rota Blitz in gunmetal, very different wheel and not sure if they'll suit the Teg, maybe Porthos can photoshop onto a blue DC5 for me Seriously tempted by these because they are different but think I'll need Porthos's skills to help me decide.

Only other option I can find are Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in black or anthracite, very similar to Rota Force so just a matter of preference as to make.

I like these wheels a lot but i think thew would be very hard to find and expensive

Have to say I love those Blitz wheels...

Pro Race 1.2's are a good wheel, quite light too considering. But they are quite common and don't actually look as big as you think...

And to the OP, that's one hell of an excuse to get new wheels! :xcheers:

Thanks Porthos, great job. Looks my minds made up as I can only get the Blitz and Torque in gunmetal and Torque too similar to oem.

Guess I'll be contacting Julian tomorrow as they look the biz and are completely different to most other wheels that I've seen on DC5's

problem is now you've posted them on here everyone is gunna love them (i do) and soon more DC5's will have them, would look blooming great on my NHB :xlol: i like the way they make the wheel look bigger.

Lenso do a similar wheel called 'PD5' normally has the red lip although you can get them in white as well.

And there's the problem, I knew it would cost me money as soon as I made this post. Guess there will be some Blitz wheels incoming shortly.
