Hi guys reading above I was wondering what's the best anti freeze to use in the DC5 as I'll grab some from halfrauds this weekend, (oat based or not?)

Also oat based is pink yes?

Thanks in advance

Mine was green coolant, so I used orange which you can mix.

Motul Inugel Optimal Car Coolant to be exact -37c is a little overkill though :D

Thanks guys also, oil? Is it 5/40, sorry not serviced it yet but will after fitted more things as it's only done circa 1500 miles since it's last service :)

Yes the manual recommends 5W40, again I use Motul Sport Ester atm.

I use the Motul Inugel coolant and Millers Nanodrive 5w/40. Used to use the Fuchs Pro race 5w/40. Both as good as each other in my opinion.

You can use pretty much any ethylene glycol based coolant. Especially if you are doing a complete drain.

I use whatever I get free. Currently running on VW stuff (as that's where I worked when I did it). Next change will be Land Rover stuff probably, as I work there now.
