Import help with parts for my dc5

Hi all

Sorry if this posted in the wrong section. I am new to this stuff. I have been looking at importing a toda high power system and some mugen coiliovers from RHD Japan. My reasons for this is because it seems a lot cheaper then getting it here in the UK. I have priced up both from RHD with shipping. Comes to about 1130 landed. But I am unsure on what I will have to pay in taxes etc here.

Can anyone help?

Ideally you'll need to add roughly 30% of the item + shipping cost combined onto it... so around 1130 + 30%.

Can calculate it yourself here, It'll give you an idea.

If not, try some of the traders on here to quote you a price as they'll usually come out better then self importing via a 3rd party.

RE Spirit/Injection imports in the trader section would be your best bet for parts.

Best bet to add 30% just to be on the safe side or ask Matt @ injection imports he's a trader on here he got me a few bits before in the past.

It should be around 24% in customs and vat but that will be on top of shipping charges too. Not just the item price
