Car is all sorted, it turned out to be the tappets and/or spark plugs. Both were changed/adjusted and the problem has cleared. car is now up for sale on autotrader if anyones interested, theres only 2 silver ones on there and mines got a tidy few extras. cheers lads! Aaron

how do you get the door card off the front? iv got all the clips undone but im strugglin with the door handle part, any suggestions??? Also, how does that speak come out coz at this stage it doesnt appear to have screws. need to know 2day as i at max power live 2moro!!!!! :? Aaron

the viper is closed with a cold air ram pipe, its a carbon fibre effort so it should be okay!! used it before and it did me a world of good. cheers for the info tho!!!!

A happier note for you on the insurance front, YES YOU WILL get insured. iv had my teg DC5 since 19 and im 20 now. my insurance is not dear at all you just haveto fish about. my best advice is head straight for companies with specialist import insurance. Also the DC5 will run on whatever petrol...

its done 25000, last serviced it 700 miles ago. now everything is sorted its induction kit time on friday. im putting a pipercross viper on there, as iv used them before and got excellent results! AND YES, I AM NOW STOPPING MY BITCHING!!!!! AT LAST!!!!

MY PROBLEM IS FIXED!!!!!!!! iv got a car that works properly again! In the end the problem turned out to be two of my tappets were way out and it now has correct clearances and new spark plugs. all is well.

it was me!!!!! i was on me way back fom essex. and they are 19s and fully dipped chrome, good stuff too i hit a kerb the other morning on me way to work still a bit tired, and it left concrete on the wheel which wiped off leaving no marks. worth every penny they are certainly tough little...

i di consider selling it but when i test rove a handfull of other performance cars i STILL couldnt find anything to better my DC5. im afraid to say that even with it running rubbish im still gonn have to keep it, when its good its too good!

not really it almost under my seat!!! and its never at full lock just slight curves turning right. sounds like a spring release more than a clunk.
