how do you know its gone? if you have checked the code it tells you whether its the primary or secondary one. i believe it lists it as sensor 1 and sensor 2.

i am sure mine was code 41 and thats the primary one.

It's normally the front one but either can fail, it seems best to fit thehonda ones, some aftermarket ones don't work properly

No if you look at the code list the secondary one is further down in the 60 range I think. You just need the primary mine was £102 from America only took the weekend as well to get delivered.

when i first reset mine it only came back on after about 30 miles or so but after a couple of resets it came on virtually straight away. i am guessing you will fine it slowly start to get worse over time as the sensor starts to die.

CEL 41 is Primary O2 sensor.

Check this out: Very informative:

http://honda-tech.co...d.php?t=1490107

As nelly has pointed out, on initial resets it disappears - only to return. The more you reset you'll find the quicker it returns as the sensors perforamnce deteriorates.

CEL41 requires a Primary O2 sensor.

Go to Tegiwa imports - it's £175.00 for an OEM part.

Unless you seriously prolong replacing it nothing should happen, but it would be best to sort it out sooner rather than later.

dont bother from them
get the denso one
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=14&partnum=2349005&a=UK14-2349005-22091
its only just over 100 and its the same product and works fine. unless you like paying over the odds for a product.

the only reason i was goin to buy the honda one was because iv been told by numerous honda specialists that the spuroius ones are a hit and miss..some are fine some a crap..so i think il pay for what i get on this 02 sensor.

ok im going to buy a sensor this week..but im still stuck between buying the cheaper denso one for 100 euro and taking the risk of it not working..or getting one from honda for 220 and being sure it works..

if anyone has bought the denso one for 100 could they let me know how long its going and is it ok? thanks

Well i wouldn't be going to Honda to pay £220, when as TypeRiter said you can get a Genuine Honda one from Tegiwa for £175.
