1/4 mile times

I might be doing my first 1/4 mile at the pod soon, and was wondering if anyone knew their times for this or what a standard dc5 type r would get - i looked on the spec sheet and it's got a time for 400 meters but thats about 8 feet short i've been told.

I did 3 runs at Avon Park County Raceway (Stratford), with a full tank of fuel and on a hot day - a couple of months back.

The times were 14.7, 14.5 & 14.3 I think I may have been able to shave another tenth or so off, but not much more.

14.3 is a very very good time! ive seen ctr's getting them results with kro and the usual bits.

elvington airfield is doing one on 9th oct, im going along with a few lads from honda revs forum, havent decided whether i'll stick her on yet.

mods are the same as tims at the mo, but hopefully my toda will be here and on by then , but not doing that till i get my engine mount inserts from tom :wink:

i got a 14.8 with car totally standard, was running mostly 15's

my mate jumped in and got it to 14.7 a few months later with AEM cold air kit.

forgot to post mine, very wet day, the 'run' started to dry out as the day wore on, but the queue waiting to run was full of potholes, mud and water, which didnt help

didnt manage to get my toda on in time, so with just my hks catback and injen i ran 14.4, best reaction time was 0.627, i know i could have done better than that though, my best time had one of my worst starts!

I was at Crail on sunday 17 runs later 8) and a best time of 14.5 @100.9mph with RT of 0.699. Not bad for a first attempt 8)
